
Training to Become a Driving Instructor
The following DSA Qualifying Exams have to be passed to enable you to qualify as an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI).
- Part 1 Theory Test - Multiple Choice Test and Video Hazard Perception Test
- Part 2 Driving Ability - Advanced Driving Test of 60 minutes; over a wide range of road types and conditions.
- Part 3 Instructor Ability - Consists of two part Test over 60 minutes, conducted by an examiner role playing a pupil.
Driving Instructor Training Courses
ADI Part 1 Training
Theory and Hazard Perception Training + on a road driving assessment.
ADI Part 2 Training
Advanced Driving Training preparation for the DSA Part 2 Driving Ability Test.
ADI Part 3 Training
Instructional Ability Training for preparation for the DSA Part 3 Ability to Instruct Test.
All Training will be conducted on a one - to - one basis.
